Farmind Philippines, Inc. (FPI) was established in Manila in 2005 to develop software for Farmind Corporation of Japan (FMC). Since its founding, Farmind Philippines, Inc. (FPI) has concentrated primarily on its original mission of helping Farmind Corporation construct an Internet-based fresh produce market information network. The extensive array of services provided by our network offers advantages for participants in the fruit and vegetable market system users, ranging from businesses involved in B2B relationships to retailers.

Farmind Corporation of Japan (FMC) selected Manila as its offshore software development base for several strategic reasons. These include the fact that the Philippines boasts a good number of English-speaking technical personnel, many of whom have experience working in multinational companies, perhaps second only to India. Additionally, the proximity of Japan to the Philippines played a role in this decision.
